Bookstores
Patricia Brown is the owner of a used book store - when the weather is good she transports a selection out to Eastern Parkway and sets up shop under the trees to the right of the Brooklyn Museum.
A project of Mike de Zaya, the mercurial investor in Crown Heights. It is a successor to the much more substantial Hullabaloo on Park Place.
Cafe con Libros, at 724 Prospect Place, run by Kalima and Ryan has a good selection of feminist literature and from time to time has events. It is small and cozy and at off hours can be the perfect place to get some work done.
